Mae’s is the resort’s original dining room featuring a large field stone fireplace and a nostalgic atmosphere. Offering classic American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 7am to 9pm. Mae’s menu offers everything from our signature crab cakes and steaks to your favorite pastas. The name “Mae” has been passed through generations of the innkeepers family and represents both the past and future of the Restaurant. Don’t forget to try one of our homemade desserts to complete your Maes experience.

One of the last remaining grand porch hotels, enjoy breathtaking sunsets and beautiful mountain views from our Historic Veranda. The Summit sits on the first ridge in the Allegheny Mountains. On a clear day our guests can take in a 60 mile view to Pittsburgh. Our covered Veranda is the perfect place to dine during the summer months. Call ahead for reservations as it fills up early.

The Wunder Bar
The historic Wunder Bar is highlighted by Don Shoemakers collection of Jim Beam bottles, and a bar completely made from pennies. Have a drink and search for pennies dating back to 1907, the year the Summit Inn was constructed. Ask The Summit’s “libation engineers” to take you back in time, with one of our signature Prohibition Era drinks, or try our famous Sunset Martini. The wonder bar offers a casual and convenient place to get a sandwich, appetizer, or light snack. Whether you are looking for a relaxing glass of wine, a classic cocktail, or just a refreshing beverage it’s worth pulling up a barstool to unwind, relax, and enjoy the ambience.

Mount Summit Golf Club
Take a short drive or walk up Skyline Drive behind the Inn to the Mount Summit Inn Golf Club and enjoy a relaxing beverage or small snack in the clubhouse. Even if you don’t play golf, the golf course clubhouse is a beautiful and relaxing spot to enjoy some panoramic mountain views of the Laurel Highlands. The food is light, but the libations menu is plenty and if Randall catches you drinking a Cold Coors Light, he may just take you out for some mountain golf.
